Day 1 | Arrive Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, China’s capital, you will be greeted and escorted to the hotel.
Day 2 | Beijing (B, L, SD)
Enjoy a full day tour of China’s fascinating capital begins with the Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, home of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years. After lunch you will visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and later enjoy a scenic boat ride on Kunming Lake (weather permitting). Tonight enjoy a fabulous welcome banquet featuring Peking duck at Qianmen 1416 Duck Restaurant.
Day 3 | Beijing (B, L)
The highlight today is an excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Enjoy the dramatic vistas of the Great Wall as it descends and rises as far as the eye can see. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven where the emperor came here to pray for good harvest twice a year.
Day 4 | Beijing Xi’an (AB, L)
This morning, take high speed train to Xian, the China’s ancient capital. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
Day 5 | Xi'an (B, L, DS)
Today’s highlight is a visit to the Archaeological Museum, home to an army of more than 6,000 life-size Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses excavated from the tomb of the 1st emperor of the Qin Dynasty. In the evening, enjoy a special dumpling dinner show recreating the music, costumes and dance of the Tang Dynasty.
Day 6 | Xi’an Guilin (AB, L)
Visit the Ancient City Wall, built during the 14th century. Continue to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of Xi’an. Fly to the scenic Guilin in the late afternoon.
Day 7 | Guilin Yangshuo Guilin (B, L)
This morning, cruise along the beautiful Li River, and experience the breathtaking scenery of Guilin with its unique limestone rock formations. Disembark at charming Yangshuo village and browse the antique and craft markets or relax at one of the local cafes. Return to Guilin in the late afternoon.
Day 8 | Guilin Shanghai (B, L)
Enjoy a city tour including Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave with stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by different color lightings. Fly to Shanghai, the “Paris of the Orient”.
Day 9 | Shanghai (B, L)
Start your morning with a visit to the famous Shanghai Museum, China’s most up-to-date museum showcasing the country’s ancient glory. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Yu Garden, famous for its rock gardens, pavilions, halls and ponds, and Old Shanghai Bazaar, with shops filled with all manner of interesting curios. Continue your visit stopping in the Old Town and modern Xintiandi.
Day 10 | Shanghai Wuzhen Optional Tour Shanghai (B)
Spend today at leisure to explore this vibrant city on your own or taking an optional tour to nearby picturesque water towns of Wuzhen, the famous “Oriental Venice”, stroll along the beautiful Watertown with a good number of side alleys, bridges, ancient docks and secondary waterways which is a fascinating place to stroll around.
Day 11 | Shanghai Hong Kong (B)
Enjoy a half day tour sightseeing features the bustling shopping Street, Nanjing Road and the Bund, famous promenade along the Huangpu River. Fly to Hong Kong in the afternoon.
Day 12 | Hong Kong (B, L)
Today’s half day sightseeing tour gives an introduction to Hong Kong Island. Your tour will take you through Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Aberdeen’s floating community. Then up to Victoria Peak to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.
Day 13 | Hong Kong (B)
You will have the whole day at leisure to interpret the meaning of Hong Kong being “The Shopping Capital of Asia”.
Day 14 | Hong Kong Home (B)
Farewell to Hong Kong. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
