Day 1 | Arrive Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, China’s capital, you will be greeted and escorted to the hotel.

Day 2 | Beijing (B, L, SD)
Enjoy a full day tour of China’s fascinating capital begins with the Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, home of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace. Take a leisurely stroll admiring the thousands of ancient murals along the Long Corridor and later a boat ride on Kunming Lake (weather permitting). This evening, enjoy a fabulous welcome banquet featuring the famous Peking duck at Qiamen 1416 Duck Restaurant.

Day 3 | Beijing (B, L)
The highlight today is an excursion to the Great Wall at Badaling. Enjoy the dramatic vistas of the Great Wall as it descends and rises as far as the eye can see. In the afternoon, take a pedicab on a Hutong Tour through the ancient parts of the city and get acquainted with the local residents on a family visit.

Day 4 | Beijing Xi’an (B, L)
Fly to Xi’an, the China’s ancient capital and visit the Ancient City Wall, built during the 14th century. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, symbol of Xi’an.

Day 5 | Xi'an (B, L, DS)
Today’s highlight is a visit to the Archaeological Museum, home to an army of more than 6,000 life-size Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses excavated from the tomb of the 1st emperor of the Qin Dynasty. In the evening, enjoy a special dumpling dinner show recreating the music, costumes and dance of the Tang Dynasty.

Day 6 | Xi’an Chongqing Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
Fly to Chongqing and enjoy a city tour which includes a visit to the Stillwell Museum where you will see a collection of World War II memorabilia, including exhibits on the Flying Tigers. After dinner, board the 5-star Victoria Cruise and begin your memorable journey on the Yangtze River.

Day 7 | Yangtze River Cruise Journey (B, L, D)
Shibaozhai – Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “The Pearl of the Yangtze”.
Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted or offered.
Note: Additional Shore Excursion on your own expenses to Fengdu’s “Ghost City” (river conditions permitting), known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.

Day 8 | Yangtze River Cruise Journey (B, L, D)
This morning enter the Three Gorges, one of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two–Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Later transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest and the deepest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.
Note: Additional shore excursion to the White Emperor City on your own expenses.

Day 9 | Yichang Shanghai (B, L)
This morning, your cruise arrives in Yang Jia Wang where you will take a shore excursion to the massive Three Gorges Dam Site, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Continue sailing to Yichang where you will disembark. Then fly to Shanghai – the “Paris of the Orient”. Upon arrival, your sightseeing features the bustling shopping street, Nanjing Road, and also the Bund, the famous promenade along the Huangpu River.
** If direct flight is not available, transfer by motor coach to Wuhan for flight to Shanghai.

Day 10 | Shanghai (B, L)
Start your morning with a visit to the famous Shanghai Museum, China’s most up-to-date museum showcasing the country’s ancient glory. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Yu Garden, famous for its rock gardens, pavilions, halls and ponds, and Old Shanghai Bazaar, with shops filled with all manner of interesting curios. Continue your visit stopping in the Old Town and modern Xintiandi.

Day 11 | Shanghai Suzhou Optional Tour Shanghai (B)
Spend today at leisure to explore this vibrant city on your own or taking an optional tour to Suzhou, a charming city of canals filled with gardens from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Many of which are UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites.

Day 12 | Shangahi Guilin (B, L, D)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour including Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave with stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by different color lightings. Check in to your hotel.

Day 13 | Guilin Yangshuo Guilin (B, L)
This morning, cruise along the beautiful Li River, and experience the breathtaking scenery of Guilin with its unique limestone rock formations. Disembark at charming Yangshuo village and browse the antique and craft markets or relax at one of the local cafes. Return to Guilin in the late afternoon.

Day 14 | Guilin Hong Kong (B)
Fly to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 15 | Hong Kong (B, L)
Today’s half day sightseeing tour gives an introduction to Hong Kong Island. Your tour will take you through Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Aberdeen’s floating community. Then up to Victoria Peak to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 16 | Hong Kong Home (B)
Farewell to Hong Kong. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
