great wallDay 1 Arrive Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, China’s capital, you will be greeted and escorted to the hotel. The balance of the day is free to relax or begin exploring on your own.

Day 2 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
The full day tour of China’s fascinating capital begins with the Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, home of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace, taking a leisure stroll while admiring the thousands of ancient murals along the Long Corridor and a boat ride on Kunming Lake (weather permitting). Toast your arrival with a glass of wine and enjoy a fabulous welcome banquet featuring the famous Peking Duck at Qianmen 1416 Duck Restaurant.

HutongDay 3 Beijing (AB, SL, D)
The highlight today is an excursion to the Great Wall (Badaling Section). Enjoy the dramatic vistas and marvel at the Wall as it climbs and descends steep ridges and narrow valleys. A scenic cable car ride enhances your visit through the steep hills. Enjoy special Chinese fine dining at local famous restaurant. En route back to the city, drive around the intriguing architecture of the main Olympic venues: the National Stadium, nicknamed the “Bird’s Nest”, because of its unique design and the National Aquatics Center, known as the “Water Cube”. In the afternoon, enjoy a pedicab tour of the Hutongs, the old-city neighborhoods of narrow lanes and courtyard houses hidden behind Beijing’s modern façade. Get acquainted with the local residents on a family visit. After dinner, enjoy a mystical and amazing show, “Legend of Kung Fu” (VIP Seating).

Day 4 Beijing – Xi'an (AB, L, BD)
After breakfast, visit the Temple Of Heaven, where the emperors came here to pray for good harvest twice a year in Qing Dynasty. Fly to Xian in the afternoon, upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the buffet dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 Xi'an (AB, L, DS)
XianToday’s highlight is a visit to the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, home to an army of more than 6,000 life-size statues excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty. After lunch, explore the Ancient City Wall and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening enjoy the Imperial Dinner Show at The Tang Dynasty Xi’an (Tang Yue Gong) recreating the music, costumes and dances of that era.

Day 6 Xi'an – Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Transfer to airport for flight to Shanghai, the “Paris of the Orient”. Upon arrival, your sightseeing features the bustling shopping street, Nanjing Road, and the Bund, the famous promenade along the Huangpu River. After dinner, you will attend a spectacular Acrobatic Show.

shanghaiDay 7 Shanghai (AB, L, SD)
This morning, you will visit Shanghai Museum, China’s most up-to-date museum showcasing the country’s ancient glory. In the afternoon, visit Yu Garden, famous for its rock gardens, pavilions, halls and ponds, and Old Shanghai Bazaar, with shops filled with all manner of interesting curios. Continue to explore the Old Town and modern Xintiandi. Enjoy the city’s best Shanghai cuisine delicate China southern flavors at a famous local restaurant.

hong kongDay 8 Shanghai – Suzhou – Shanghai (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, take a scenic ride to Suzhou, a charming city of canals filled with gardens from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which many of them are UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites. Take a cruise along the charming Grand Canal and visit to Garden of the Humble Administrator. Return to Shanghai in the late afternoon.

Day 9 Shanghai – Hong Kong (AB, L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, your half-day sightseeing highlights the introduction to Hong Kong Island through Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Aberdeen’s floating community. Then ascend Victoria Peak to take in the breathtaking, panoramic views of the city. Check into the hotel, your evening is at leisure.

Day 10 Hong Kong (AB)
You will have the whole day to explore “The Shopping Capital of Asia” or you may consider taking one of the optional tours.

Day 11 Hong Kong – Home (AB)
Farewell to Hong Kong. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight back to USA.
